Hippocratic AI (see profile here), a leader in clinically safe generative AI for healthcare, has raised $126 million in Series C funding at a $3.5 billion valuation, bringing its total funding to $404 million. The round was led by Avenir Growth, joined by new and existing investors including CapitalG (Google’s growth fund), General Catalyst, Andreessen Horowitz, Kleiner Perkins, Premji Invest, Universal Health Services (UHS), Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, WellSpan Health, John Doerr, and Rick Klausner.

The company plans to use the new capital to drive product development, international expansion, and strategic mergers and acquisitions. Hippocratic AI said the investment will also fuel the continued rollout of its generative AI agents to global healthcare organizations.

In just 15 months since commercialization, the company has established partnerships with more than 50 major health systems, payors, and pharmaceutical clients across six countries. It has built over 1,000 clinical use cases and completed more than 115 million patient interactions with zero safety incidents. Hippocratic AI’s technology is being increasingly adopted as healthcare systems seek to scale operations and enhance patient access through AI-driven solutions safely.

Healthcare executives from institutions such as Cleveland Clinic, Northwestern Medicine, University Hospitals, and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital praised Hippocratic AI’s clinically safe and empathetic approach. The company’s partnerships now span payors representing over half of the top 10 in the U.S. and three of the top eight global pharmaceutical companies.

The Series C funding will accelerate Hippocratic AI’s global reach, expand its customer base, and deepen its investment in the Polaris Safety Constellation Architecture—its proprietary framework for clinical safety and validation. The company also intends to pursue targeted acquisitions to enhance its product suite and scale deployment across healthcare sectors.

Founded with the goal to ensure AI in healthcare adheres to the principle of “do no harm,” Hippocratic AI develops non-diagnostic, patient-facing clinical agents that are not used for prescribing or diagnosis. The company’s growing footprint and safety record have positioned it as one of the fastest-rising enterprises in the healthcare AI sector.
