HIVE Raises $15 Million Seed To Build Physical AI Platform For Industrial Machines

HIVE announced that it has raised $15 million in seed funding. The round was led by SuperSeed, with participation from Veriten, Skyfall, and Nysnø. Angel investors in the round include Børge Hald, founder of Medallia, and Jørn Lyseggen, founder of Meltwater. The company described the financing as one of Europe’s largest seed investments in Physical AI.

HIVE is building an intelligence layer for industrial machines. The company’s platform is designed to function as a silicon brain that enables machines to perceive, decide, and act autonomously across industrial environments.

The technology is intended for use across warehouses, production lines, construction sites, and other industrial settings. HIVE said its platform unifies machine operations through one intelligence system, helping industrial machines work together more autonomously and efficiently.

The company is already deployed across several sites in Scandinavia. Its platform is operating autonomously across different types of machines, and HIVE currently has offices in Norway and London, with a U.S. expansion underway.

The seed funding will be used to accelerate development of HIVE’s platform. The company also plans to expand its founding team with talent across AI and robotics while scaling commercial deployments with new and existing industrial partners.

HIVE’s commercial model is built around a reinforcement learning loop across machinery fleets. The company said each deployed machine hour feeds into a larger learning system, which is expected to reduce productive machine-hour costs by 80%.

HIVE is headquartered in London and focused on helping operators scale physical labor across logistics, industrial production, and construction. The company’s mission is to make productivity limitless by enabling industrial machines to work together safely and efficiently.

KEY QUOTES:

“We’ve spent the past few months securing top international talent to support the next phase of growth. The silicon brain is taking shape; with live deployments and strong market traction, we are well positioned to lead the next era of physical AI, proving real results for our customers.”

Christoffer Jørgensvaag, CEO and Co-Founder of HIVE

“SuperSeed backs the rare founders who can see a category before it exists and have the technical depth to build it. HIVE’s silicon brain is powerful enough to retrofit existing industrial fleets, and the intelligence compounds in value with every hour it runs. That is the defining wave of physical AI for the next decade.”
