Hivelocity announced the appointment of Jim Parks as chief executive officer as the company expands its bare metal and AI-ready infrastructure platform amid growing enterprise demand for high-performance compute environments. Parks succeeds in the role with more than two decades of leadership experience across infrastructure, SaaS, and data services businesses.
He joins Hivelocity from Ntirety, where he served as CEO and led the company through a period of operational and strategic growth that culminated in its acquisition by 11:11 Systems.
Parks also previously held leadership roles at Flexential and Passport, where he focused on recurring revenue growth, go-to-market strategy alignment, and operational scaling across distributed teams.
Hivelocity said the leadership appointment comes as enterprise and mid-market customers increasingly modernize infrastructure environments to support AI workloads, GPU compute requirements, and data-intensive applications.
The company stated that it plans to expand its bare metal and AI-ready infrastructure footprint under Parks’ leadership, including increased GPU capacity, additional AI ecosystem partnerships, and broader customer support capabilities.
Hivelocity provides bare metal infrastructure and AI-ready hosting services to mid-market and enterprise customers and has operated in the infrastructure market for more than 20 years.
The company said customers are increasingly seeking infrastructure providers capable of delivering performance, scalability, operational consistency, and hands-on support as AI and compute demands continue to increase.
