What is Jeremy Pease’s background? 

Pease is a seasoned executive with over 25 years in the data center and cloud hosting industry. He has built a career rooted in extreme ownership and servant leadership. As the CEO of Hivelocity, Pease is harnessing his extensive background to guide the company toward a dominant position in the industry, targeting advancements in cloud technology, Bare Metal, and retail Colo services.

Pease is also a graduate with an Associate of Arts in Business from the University of Phoenix in 2008. Jeremy ascended through the ranks rapidly, becoming a COO before the age of 40 and later a CEO before turning 50.

In his initial prominent role as Chief Operating Officer at Contegix, Pease built the company’s first product catalog and forged a strong partner network. Following this, Pease served as the COO at Aptum, overseeing global operations and introducing innovative product solutions. Pease’s career path later took him to DataBank, where, in his capacity as Senior Vice President of Managed Services, he revitalized the company’s revenue streams and managed its complex integrations.

Pease said, “I have been in the technology space for over 25 years now with the last decade plus in data centers, cloud and connectivity specifically.”

How did the idea for the company come together? 

Pease shared, “Colohouse and Hivelocity were brought together to create a single provider for customers looking for a hybrid cloud solution partner. We provide everything from bare metal to private cloud to VPS to retail colocation with network automation and security wrapped around the primary products.”

What has been Pease’s favorite memory working for the company so far? 

Pease reflected, the first combined All Hands call with both organizations seeing over 150 people logged in to celebrate the companies coming together.”

What challenges have Pease and the team faced in building the company? 

Pease acknowledged, Integrating multiple companies always presents a specific set of challenges and we have created dedicated focus and resources to ensure we make the integrations as seamless as possible.”

How has the company’s technology evolved since launching? 

Pease noted, “The evolution around our bare metal and cloud products have come quite a ways over the last 10 years and made some great advancements recently even. We have created developer and network-based automation around our platforms and launched the latest in enterprise-grade private cloud services.”

When asked about the company’s funding details, Pease revealed, Looking to eclipse $85 million in revenue in 2024.”
