Hogan Lovells has appointed investment funds lawyer Thibault Dupont-Nougein as a partner in its Private Equity & Funds practice in Paris, adding fund-formation and secondary-market expertise as the firm continues to invest in its broader private capital offering. Dupont-Nougein joins from Willkie Farr & Gallagher and will advise asset managers across the full fund lifecycle, from launches and primary activity through GP- and LP-led secondary transactions.
The firm positioned the hire as a strategic fit for its French private equity practice, with Global Corporate & Finance Practice Group Leader James Doyle saying Dupont-Nougein’s expertise expands the scope of work Hogan Lovells can service in the market and reflects deliberate investment in the firm’s global Private Equity & Funds platform.
Paris Office Managing Partner Xenia Legendre said the addition brings further depth to the firm’s Tier 1 Paris team and strengthens its ability to support sophisticated sponsor activity across strategies.
