Global law firm Hogan Lovells has hired Walid Salib as a partner in its Corporate & Finance practice in Riyadh. Salib joins from Eversheds Sutherland, where he served as Head of M&A for Saudi Arabia. He previously held the same role at Freshfields.
Salib brings over 14 years of Middle East experience advising private equity firms, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and multinational corporations on high-value transactions. His work spans public and private M&A, strategic joint ventures, corporate structuring and restructuring, capital-markets-related M&A, and Saudi merger control clearances.
Georgy Kalashnikov, who leads Hogan Lovells’ Middle East region, said Salib’s arrival supports the firm’s strategic expansion in Saudi Arabia—a fast-growing G20 economy.
