Holland & Knight added Erin O’Gurek as a partner in its Philadelphia office, strengthening the firm’s corporate, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity capabilities in the Northeast.
O’Gurek joins from Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, where she advised strategic and private equity clients.
Her practice focuses on domestic and cross-border M&A, joint ventures, and growth equity transactions.
She represents private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, strategic buyers and sellers, and public companies.
O’Gurek’s transactional experience spans healthcare, technology, energy, financial services, consumer products, and sports and entertainment.
She will also support Holland & Knight’s Legal Services Transactions Team, which advises on management services organization structures, alternative business structures, law firm operations, and regulatory compliance.
O’Gurek is the 20th private equity-focused partner Holland & Knight has added during 2026.
Before becoming a lawyer, she worked as a registered nurse in pediatric, neuroscience, and perioperative care.
That clinical background gives her additional experience with the operational considerations affecting healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, and life sciences companies.
She previously clerked for Judges Timothy R. Rice and Juan R. Sánchez of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
