Homewerks Worldwide has acquired GTR Technologies, expanding its heating, ventilation and indoor air quality platform with the ReVent, DewStop and Breeze Easy brands.
Washington-based GTR develops and markets ventilation and moisture-control products, including bathroom ventilation fans, humidity and condensation sensing controls, fan timers and other ventilation products.
The company also brings an intellectual property portfolio and an experienced product development and management team focused on the ventilation category.
The GTR transaction represents Homewerks’ fourth acquisition to date.
Homewerks plans to combine GTR’s brands, category knowledge and product pipeline with its own global sourcing, distribution, marketing and retailer relationships.
The acquisition broadens the assortment of ventilation, moisture management and indoor air quality products Homewerks can provide to retail and wholesale partners while creating additional opportunities for new product introductions.
GTR executive Tony Branham will remain with the business and has been appointed President of Homewerks’ HVAC Division.
Branham will oversee integration of GTR while leading continued growth across Homewerks’ expanded HVAC portfolio.
Homewerks and GTR are working with customers, vendors, employees and other partners during the transition to maintain product quality and service continuity.
GTR is headquartered in Port Orchard, Washington and markets ventilation fans, technology switches, access panels and related home improvement products through branded and private-label channels.
Homewerks, based in Lake Bluff, Illinois, develops and markets products across rough plumbing, fashion plumbing, HVAC and bathroom accessory categories.
