Honigman: Richard Catalano Joins As Partner In Chicago

Honigman LLP announced that it is growing its Chicago office by adding Richard “Richie” Catalano as a partner in the Transactions & Counseling Practice Group and Corporate Department. He joined the firm from Ballard Spahr.

Catalano focuses his practice on emerging companies and venture capital matters. And his clients include global institutional investors, tax-exempt entities, start-ups, hedge funds, family offices, and private equity and venture capital firms.

Catalano has extensive experience with various transaction types, including equity financing rounds, mergers and acquisitions, and other commercial agreements, including licensing, NFT collaborations, technology sourcing, blockchain networks, manufacturing and supply, and marketing agreements.

Outside venture capital experience, Catalano handles corporate governance matters and frequently drafts and negotiates third-party vendor agreements.

Catalano earned a J.D. from Hofstra University and a B.A. from the State University of New York at Fredonia.
