Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company (HOPCo), a global leader in musculoskeletal outcomes management, has acquired Caro Health, an AI-driven digital health firm based in Amsterdam. This move expands HOPCo’s presence in Europe and advances its mission to develop a comprehensive digital health platform.
Caro Health’s AI technology streamlines communication between patients and providers across multiple clinical specialties, serving nearly 40 healthcare customers in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Thomas Goijarts (co-founder and CEO of Caro) will become Head of Products for HOPCo Digital, while Caro co-founder Guusje van der Heijden will oversee customer success and delivery in Europe. HOPCo aims to grow its European office and fully integrate Caro’s team and platform into its Digital Health Division, strengthening products such as HOPCo Vitals, myrecovery by HOPCo, and its EMR Ecosystem.
With partnerships worldwide and turn-key value-based care programs, HOPCo is enhancing MSK care, improving outcomes, and reducing costs. The acquisition of Caro Health will further boost HOPCo’s global digital platform, transforming patient experiences and increasing operational efficiency.
