Hope For The Warriors has received a $3 million grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. to strengthen its organizational foundation and expand access to evidence-based support for military families nationwide.

The funding is part of a broader initiative by Lilly Endowment, which is awarding 18 grants to military service organizations and veterans service organizations across the country to enhance their capacity to provide direct support to members of the U.S. military, veterans and their families.

For Hope For The Warriors, the investment will support leadership and workforce development, critical upgrades to systems and infrastructure, and expanded access to evidence-based care. Drawing on 20 years of program data, the organization plans to broaden availability of Parent-Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT), create safe and welcoming spaces for military families, and strengthen leadership development, staff expertise and fundraising capacity. Investments in marketing, technology and operational systems are also expected to improve efficiency and extend the nonprofit’s reach, ensuring that more resources are directed to high-quality, direct services.

Founded in 2006, Hope For The Warriors serves post-9/11 veterans, service members and their loved ones through programs focused on wellbeing, including clinical services, financial and career coaching, peer support and family-centered care. The organization supports military families across the United States as they transition beyond military service and work to build resilient futures.

Lilly Endowment Inc., established in 1937 by J.K. Lilly Sr. and his sons Eli and J.K. Jr. through gifts of stock in Eli Lilly and Company, operates as a separate private foundation. While the original stock gifts remain a financial cornerstone, the Endowment maintains its own governing board, staff and operations. In line with its founders’ wishes, the foundation supports initiatives in community development, education and religion nationwide, with a special commitment to Indianapolis and the state of Indiana.
