Horizon3.ai announced it has received an investment from Prosperity7 Ventures, the diversified venture fund of Aramco Ventures, as the offensive security company looks to accelerate efforts to safeguard AI datacenters and other critical infrastructure increasingly targeted by cyber adversaries.
The company, best known for its NodeZero offensive security platform, said the funding will support continued development of autonomous penetration testing capabilities designed to help organizations validate whether their security controls can withstand real-world attack paths. Horizon3.ai positions NodeZero as an “attacker-aligned” approach that demonstrates how intruders could break in, what they could reach once inside, and how far they could go—ranging from intellectual property theft to ransomware impacts.
The announcement comes as organizations expand AI adoption and build out the datacenter infrastructure required to train and run models at scale—an evolution Horizon3.ai and Prosperity7 framed as widening the global attack surface. The company also pointed to warnings from government agencies and policy experts that AI-driven infrastructure creates new avenues for disruption, adding that recent public reporting has highlighted early examples of AI-orchestrated cyber-espionage activity.
Horizon3.ai said nearly 5,000 organizations use NodeZero globally, including customers across healthcare, energy, national security, and semiconductor manufacturing. The company added that its platform is used by 40% of the Fortune 10, large banks, and members of the U.S. Defense Industrial Base.
The investment follows Horizon3.ai’s introduction of “Threat Informed Perspectives,” a capability it said measures breach containment strength across identity, cloud environments, and segmented networks—areas where many organizations struggle to understand whether defenses will hold up during lateral movement and privilege escalation attempts.
Prosperity7, which invests globally with a long-term mandate, said Horizon3.ai’s platform provides measurable resilience by chaining weaknesses into practical attack paths and validating controls in live environments—an approach it argued is particularly relevant for regulated and high-consequence sectors.
Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed.
KEY QUOTES:
“AI datacenters and critical infrastructure are now front-line targets. Prosperity7 Ventures recognizes the urgency. Their investment reinforces our approach: autonomous pentesting that produces evidence, not assumptions, so organizations can verify they’re truly harder to breach.”
Snehal Antani, CEO and Co-Founder, Horizon3.ai
“Horizon3.ai is setting the pace for proactive cybersecurity. NodeZero’s ability to chain weaknesses into real attack paths and validate controls in live environments provides the measurable resilience that sectors like energy, healthcare, and government require. We are excited to support their continued growth.”
