HP has introduced the OmniBook Ultra 16 and OmniBook X 14, expanding its portfolio of AI PCs powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark and Windows for developers, creators, gamers, entrepreneurs and other advanced users.
HP also revealed additional details about an upcoming RTX Spark-powered OmniDesk desktop, extending the platform beyond laptops.
First previewed at Computex in June, HP describes the new OmniBooks as the world’s thinnest NVIDIA RTX Spark laptops.
The systems are designed around increasingly sophisticated local AI applications, including personal agents, AI-assisted content creation and agentic workflows that can operate directly on a user’s PC.
The flagship HP OmniBook Ultra 16 is positioned for developers and creators working with larger AI models and demanding creative workloads.
Configurations will support up to 128 GB of unified memory and up to 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance, enabling larger open-source and open-weight models and more complex local AI workflows.
HP developed its first consumer tower hinge and trunk architecture for the system to increase airflow and heat dissipation while retaining a thin design.
The cooling system combines larger heat pipes with dual ultra-thin fans to support sustained AI, development and creative workloads.
The OmniBook Ultra 16 also includes a 16-inch 3K OLED display with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification, along with quad speakers powered by smart amplifiers.
Its 99 Wh battery provides up to 17 hours of battery life, according to HP, while fast charging can restore up to 50% of the battery in about 30 minutes.
The smaller HP OmniBook X 14 brings the same broader RTX Spark strategy into a more portable design aimed at creators, developers and AI enthusiasts who regularly work away from a desk.
The notebook combines local AI, a personal agent, creator and RTX capabilities with an OLED display carrying VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification.
HP said the OmniBook X 14 can provide up to 15 hours of battery life and supports fast charging through a 140W USB-C GaN adapter, reaching approximately 50% charge in around 30 minutes.
The upcoming OmniDesk is being developed as a compact, high-performance desktop for AI computing.
Its always-on design is intended to let AI agents and other long-running workloads keep running even when the user steps away from the system.
HP plans to release the OmniBook Ultra 16 through HP.com and Best Buy this fall, while the OmniBook X 14 is expected to reach HP.com and other retailers during the same period.
HP will announce pricing for the laptops and OmniDesk closer to availability.
