HR Path acquired SnapAI, a startup specializing in artificial intelligence and regulatory compliance, as the company expands its AI capabilities across human resources consulting and technology services.
The acquisition is intended to strengthen HR Path’s expertise in AI and accelerate the development of new AI-based offerings and solutions for clients.
HR Path operates in 34 countries with nearly 2,900 employees and supports companies through three primary service lines: Advise, Implement, and Outsource.
The company said it sees artificial intelligence as a major opportunity to transform HR functions, improve the employee experience, reduce repetitive work, and create new sources of value for organizations.
HR Path has also established a dedicated AI Task Force that brings together expertise from across the group to identify use cases and evaluate opportunities.
The company recently launched a dedicated AI offering designed to help clients assess AI maturity and HR data, prioritize use cases, transform HR processes, support adoption and skills development, and define roadmaps for measuring value creation.
HR Path plans to integrate AI across its broader portfolio.
Within its Advise business, the company plans to help organizations define AI strategies and transformation programs.
Within Implement, HR Path intends to activate and integrate new AI capabilities into HR solutions.
Within Outsource, the company plans to automate selected activities and continuously improve HR operations.
The acquisition of SnapAI adds further expertise in AI governance and compliance.
HR Path said this is particularly important because AI applications in areas including recruitment, assessment, and employee management can fall into high-risk categories under the European AI Act.
SnapAI’s capabilities are expected to help HR Path support clients deploying AI while addressing governance and regulatory requirements.
The company said the acquisition will also help it turn rapid advances in artificial intelligence into more practical solutions for HR organizations.
HR Path was founded in 2001 and has focused on helping companies transform their HR organizations, processes, and technology platforms.
