HR Path has acquired Payroll Experts Australia, expanding the global HR consulting and HR information systems company’s payroll compliance, remediation, workforce management, and HR systems capabilities across Australia and New Zealand.
Brisbane-based Payroll Experts Australia was founded in 2009 and has completed more than 530 projects for over 260 organizations across the two markets. The company operates independently of software vendors and supports employers throughout the payroll, workforce management, and HR systems lifecycle.
Its capabilities include payroll compliance and audits, remediation projects, interpretation of awards and employment agreements, payroll processing, advisory services, and end-to-end systems implementation.
HR Path said the acquisition strengthens its ability to provide comprehensive HR transformation services in the Australia and New Zealand market. Payroll Experts Australia’s payroll and compliance expertise will complement HR Path’s existing capabilities in HRIS technology and SAP SuccessFactors.
The combined organization will be able to support customers across areas ranging from strategic HR advisory and technology implementation to payroll compliance, workforce management, and ongoing operational support.
Payroll Experts Australia will continue operating under the name Payroll Experts Australia, an HR Path Company. Its existing leadership team and employees will remain in their roles, providing continuity for customers while gaining access to HR Path’s international resources, technology capabilities, and broader consulting organization.
The transaction represents another step in HR Path’s expansion across the region. The company entered Australia in 2019 through its acquisition of DDG and opened an Australian office in 2024.
HR Path subsequently acquired RKM Consulting in 2025, strengthening its SAP SuccessFactors and HR technology expertise across Australia and New Zealand. The Payroll Experts Australia acquisition adds specialized payroll capabilities to that regional platform.
For Payroll Experts Australia, joining HR Path provides access to a larger international organization while allowing the company to maintain its independent approach to payroll consulting and its established customer relationships.
