HubSpot To Buy AI-Based Workplace Search Assistant Company Dashworks

By Amit Chowdhry • Apr 19, 2025

HubSpot announced it agreed to buy Dashworks, an AI-based workplace search assistant. This deal will combine Dashworks’ deep search and reasoning expertise with a vision of giving every go-to-market team member an AI assistant.

Last year, HubSpot launched Breeze Copilot as a first step in making this vision a reality for customers.

As Dashworks joins HubSpot, it will make Breeze Copilot, Agents, and embedded features even more powerful by adding deep search/reasoning and connecting to unstructured data sources. So individual team members will be able to ask questions in natural language:

– Marketers can ask for the latest brand guidelines

– Sales reps can ask for the status of accounts beyond what’s in the CRM

– CX reps can have it search the knowledge base for specific answers

Breeze will research business contexts both inside and outside of HubSpot in the background, utilizing an ecosystem with over 1,800 app integrations. Then, it summarizes and delivers answers quickly to GTM team members.

Dashworks co-founders Prasad Kawthekar and Pratyaksh Sharma and the team have created a powerful platform connecting multiple data sources to transform how businesses search. And the Dashworks team will join HubSpot’s AI product group to enhance search and context-gathering capabilities across Breeze.

KEY QUOTES;

“What’s impressive about Dashworks is its simplicityask a question, and it instantly pulls information scattered across documents, messages, tickets, teams, and third-party apps. What used to take hours now takes seconds. We’re excited to integrate this powerful search into Copilot to create a true go-to-market assistant.”

– Nicholas Holland, SVP and Head of AI at HubSpot

“Dashworks and HubSpot share a commitment to making powerful technology accessible to businesses of all sizes. With HubSpot’s leadership in go-to-market solutions and their advanced work with unstructured data, our next chapter with HubSpot will help even more businesses unlock the full potential of AI in their daily workflows.”
