Humana announced the election of Robert S. Field to its Board of Directors, effective immediately following the company’s 2026 Annual Meeting of Stockholders.
Field currently serves as Principal and Managing Member of ηMed Capital Management LLC, an investment firm focused on U.S. healthcare services companies, particularly within the managed care sector. His appointment adds significant investment and industry expertise to Humana’s board as the company continues to execute its long-term growth strategy.
Field brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare investing and strategy. Prior to founding ηMed Capital Management, he served as a senior analyst at Luxor Capital, where he led healthcare services investments. Earlier in his career, he worked as an associate at McKinsey & Company, focusing on corporate and business strategy, and practiced antitrust law at Vinson & Elkins LLP.
The appointment follows a comprehensive board search process that incorporated shareholder engagement, including input from John Petry of Sessa Capital, reflecting Humana’s ongoing focus on governance and board refreshment.
