Huskeys has raised $27 million in Series A funding led by Blackstone Innovations Investments, bringing the cybersecurity company’s total funding to $35 million as it builds a Network Edge Security Management platform for increasingly complex and AI-driven network environments. The round follows an $8 million seed financing. Other investors include Merlin Ventures, Skinos Ventures, Zscaler Ventures, Okta Ventures, Bright Pixel Capital and SV Angel.
Individual investors include WAF and CAPTCHA inventor Eran Reshef as well as executives from Palo Alto Networks, Cloudflare, Check Point, AWS, Google, Microsoft and Intel.
Huskeys’ customer base already includes TikTok, LEGOLAND, Ro, Blackstone and Hugging Face.
The company said its platform currently analyzes more than one trillion web requests and thousands of network configurations every day across organizations worldwide.
Huskeys is building what it calls a new cybersecurity category, Network Edge Security Management, or NESM, designed to provide a unified intelligence and control layer across increasingly fragmented network edge environments.
Modern organizations often rely on combinations of cloud providers, content delivery networks, web application firewalls, cloud-native security products, load balancers, VPCs and security groups.
Huskeys is designed to sit above those existing technologies rather than replace them, allowing security teams to manage and orchestrate controls across multiple vendors and environments from a common platform.
The company believes the need for a unified management layer is becoming more important as artificial intelligence changes both legitimate internet traffic and cyber threats.
Autonomous AI agents are increasingly interacting with applications as legitimate users, while attackers are using AI to discover and exploit vulnerabilities more quickly.
Non-human traffic is expected to represent 70% of all web traffic by 2027, creating additional pressure on security teams to differentiate legitimate automated activity from malicious behavior.
Huskeys’ platform uses its patented Unified Data Model, or UDM, to create a consistent layer of understanding across different technologies, environments and providers.
The architecture enables security insights, policies and actions to move across multi-cloud and multi-vendor environments while supporting consistent protection from the internet edge through to applications.
The platform includes continuous security posture assessment, dynamic policy generation, orchestration and Virtual Patching.
Virtual Patching is designed to allow security teams to mitigate vulnerabilities directly at the network edge within minutes while developers work on permanent fixes in application code.
Huskeys is also developing capabilities for identifying and managing agentic traffic so legitimate AI agents can interact with applications without unnecessarily increasing false positives, operational disruption or security risk.
The company plans to use the Series A funding to continue developing the NESM platform and scale its ability to serve large enterprise environments.
