Hydraulic Technologies, a designer, engineer, and manufacturer of high-pressure hydraulic tools and equipment and a portfolio company of Wynnchurch Capital, announced it has acquired Foxtrot Industriel, a manufacturer of motorized industrial handling equipment. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Foxtrot Industriel, headquartered in Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec, designs and manufactures motorized equipment used to lift, transport, and position heavy machinery in manufacturing and industrial environments. Its product lineup includes motorized dollies, heavy-lift robots, bridge load-spreader systems, and related accessories designed to improve safety and efficiency in handling heavy machinery.
The acquisition represents the second strategic addition to Hydraulic Technologies’ newly formed Heavy Lift segment, following the addition of Hydra-Slide. The expanded segment is intended to strengthen the company’s presence in the heavy-lift and factory-automation markets by offering engineered solutions for moving extremely heavy loads across industrial and rail applications.
According to the company, the addition of Foxtrot broadens its portfolio to cover a wider range of heavy lifting capabilities, from sub-ton applications to industrial moves involving loads up to 1,000 tons. Hydraulic Technologies plans to leverage its global reach and operational resources to support Foxtrot’s next stage of growth and expand its footprint across North America and international markets.
Hydraulic Technologies is headquartered in Rockford, Illinois, and its hydraulic tools are used in mission-critical maintenance, repair, and operational functions across industries such as infrastructure, manufacturing, and rail.
