Hyve announced that it has acquired LegalTechTalk, a leading European event focused on legal technology and transformation. The acquisition marks Hyve’s entry into the legal SuperVertical and is the company’s first acquisition since launching its Ascend30 strategy.
LegalTechTalk has become a major meeting place for legal industry leaders as AI and technology reshape how legal services are delivered. The event brings together senior decision-makers across the legal ecosystem, including executives from companies and firms such as Google, Airbnb, Revolut, Adidas, DLA Piper, and Freshfields.
Founded in 2024 by Bradley Collins and Mikkel Jensen, LegalTechTalk has grown quickly. Its 2026 event in June attracted more than 5,500 attendees from over 70 countries, with 62% of attendees being C-suite or senior decision-makers, along with more than 450 speakers.
The founders will continue leading the business following the acquisition. They will work closely with Hyve’s Acquisitions and Best Practice team, led by Lisa Milburn.
The acquisition also supports LegalTechTalk’s international expansion strategy. Following the recent announcement of its U.S. expansion, Hyve’s Global Ventures launch team, led by Katy Fryatt, will support the inaugural American event in Miami Beach in December 2027.
Hyve plans to support LegalTechTalk’s next stage of growth by investing behind its existing market position. Initial priorities include formalizing a hosted meetings program at scale and introducing new product formats, including TableTalks.
The next editions of LegalTechTalk are scheduled for June 16–17, 2027 in London and December 13–15, 2027 in Miami Beach. Hyve said the acquisition reflects its strategy of expanding into high-growth communities where major industries are being transformed by technology.
