The investment will support continued product innovation and global expansion as aerospace and defense manufacturers face mounting pressure to scale production, address supply chain challenges, and modernize operations. Industry demand is increasingly shifting toward embedding artificial intelligence into mission-critical workflows, alongside broader adoption of digital engineering and model-based enterprise standards.
iBase-t’s Solumina platform integrates manufacturing execution, supplier quality management, enterprise quality management, and maintenance, repair and overhaul functions into a unified digital environment tailored for highly regulated industries. The platform also connects with engineering and operational systems to create a seamless digital thread across manufacturing workflows.
The company has also introduced Solumina AI, which embeds advanced analytics and AI-driven insights directly into operations. This enables manufacturers to enhance decision-making, improve execution on the shop floor, and drive continuous performance optimization while maintaining compliance in complex environments.
The investment reflects growing private equity interest in industrial software platforms that enable automation, data integration, and operational efficiency across critical sectors such as aerospace and defense.
