IBI Ag announced the completion of its Series A funding round totaling $10 million, marking a significant step forward in advancing the company’s bioinsecticide platform. Corteva led the round through its Corteva Catalyst platform, alongside participation from The Trendlines Group, Iron Nation, Consensus Business Group, and a grant from the Israel Innovation Authority. Bandera Capital and First Imagine Ventures joined the round to support its completion.

The funding represents growing market interest in next-generation agricultural biologicals and reflects increased demand for sustainable alternatives to conventional chemical crop protection. The capital will enable IBI Ag to accelerate product development and regulatory progress for its platform, which is built around single-domain antibodies, also known as nanobodies.

IBI Ag’s technology introduces novel modes of action designed to protect high-value crops from a broad range of insect pests. The products are engineered to be selective and environmentally safe, reducing harm to beneficial insects while improving farmer productivity. The company’s approach adapts antibody-based principles, historically used in pharmaceuticals, to agricultural applications, delivering targeted insect control with a reduced ecological footprint.

The company and Corteva have continued to expand their collaboration through the Corteva Catalyst platform. The platform is focused on working with early-stage innovators to speed the development and deployment of sustainable agricultural and food system technologies.
