Godspeed Capital Management – a lower middle market Architecture, Engineering, & Consulting (AEC) and government services-focused private equity firm – announced the acquisition of Robert G. Campbell & Associates (RGC&A) by ICE USA, its transportation-focused engineering and consulting services and solutions platform holding company. The deal marks the second addition to Godspeed’s expanding ICE USA platform and deepens its surveying, civil engineering, and construction management capabilities for public works and transportation agency customers within the highly attractive Tennessee market.
Launched in 1970 and headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee, RGC&A is a premier full-service consulting and engineering firm specializing in civil engineering, inspection, and surveying services primarily for state and local government clients in public infrastructure development.
The addition of RGC&A brings more than 40 highly-skilled professionals to the ICE USA platform, including its tenured leadership team, which will remain with RGC&A following the transaction and continue to lead the business.
RGC&A has established itself as a leader in the rapidly growing Tennessee market, with expertise spanning various sectors, including transportation, water/wastewater, site development, and residential projects. RGC&A will operate side-by-side with Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering (ICE), Godspeed’s inception platform investment, and IDCUS under the ICE USA platform.
Latham & Watkins acted as legal advisor on behalf of Godspeed Capital. And AEC Advisors, through its registered broker-dealer affiliate AEC Transaction Services, was the exclusive financial advisor to Robert G. Campbell & Associates.
