IFS, a leading provider of Industrial AI software, announced it has completed its acquisition of Softeon, expanding its capabilities across manufacturing, logistics, and retail with a new category of integrated supply chain technology. Operating under the name IFS Softeon, the combined business brings together IFS’s Industrial AI capabilities and Softeon’s more than 20 years of tier one warehouse management software expertise.
The company said the launch of IFS Softeon addresses a longstanding challenge in supply chain operations, as many enterprises continue to run disconnected ERP and warehouse management systems that create operational blind spots. The unified platform integrates Industrial AI, deep industry domain expertise, robotics orchestration, and warehouse execution into a single offering that provides visibility from executive leadership to frontline warehouse operations.
IFS currently manages $2.4 trillion in critical assets through its IFS Cloud platform, which is purpose-built for asset-intensive industries and includes embedded Industrial AI and robotics orchestration capabilities. Softeon adds a field-tested warehouse management system platform that has earned Gartner Visionary recognition and supports warehouse operations for customers, including Brooks, Casey’s, Denso, Sears Home Service, Sony, and UPS. Together, IFS Softeon processes millions of orders per month and manages warehouse operations across 30 countries.
The combined company said it will accelerate innovation in warehouse automation, inventory optimization, and supply chain resilience. Existing Softeon customers will continue to receive ongoing investment and support without disruption, while IFS customers gain access to advanced warehouse management capabilities. New customers will have the option of working with a single vendor for end to end supply chain intelligence.
