IKS Health announced it has completed its acquisition of TruBridge, a provider of healthcare technology solutions including electronic health records and revenue cycle management systems for rural and community hospitals. Following the transaction, TruBridge will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of IKS Health.
The acquisition strengthens IKS Health’s position in the healthcare technology market by expanding its reach across rural and community care settings. The combined company now supports more than 2,000 healthcare organizations and over 150,000 clinicians across the United States, with a focus on improving operational efficiency and patient outcomes.
IKS Health is building an integrated healthcare operating system designed to streamline the entire patient journey, combining AI-driven automation with human expertise. By incorporating TruBridge’s EHR platform and revenue cycle capabilities, the company aims to reduce administrative complexity, improve financial performance, and enhance care delivery across a fragmented healthcare system.
The deal also positions IKS Health to capitalize on a large and growing market opportunity, particularly as rural healthcare providers face increasing pressure to improve access, reduce costs, and maintain financial sustainability. The company plans to expand its use of advanced technologies, including specialized large language models, to automate workflows and unlock greater value from clinical data.
TruBridge brings decades of experience serving rural hospitals and community providers, with a customer base of more than 1,500 organizations. Its technology and services are expected to complement IKS Health’s existing care enablement platform, creating a more comprehensive offering across both acute and ambulatory care environments.
