Illumia, formerly known as Transact + CBORD and a business unit of Roper Technologies, has formally inaugurated a new office for its Chennai Global Capability Center at the International Tech Park in Chennai, India. The opening reinforces the company’s investment in India as a strategic hub for its global technology and product organization, building on nearly fourteen years of presence in the city.
The Chennai center is currently home to approximately 80 team members spanning technology, product, cloud, and core business functions, including finance, marketing, and human resources. Illumia is actively hiring at the location with a focus on scaling capabilities in cloud engineering, information security, and product engineering. The formal inauguration on April 27 was celebrated with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony led by CTO Taran Lent, General Manager Srinivasgopal Raman, and members of the Chennai leadership team.
Illumia powers payments, access, foodservice, and credentialing systems for more than 10,000 higher education, healthcare, and senior living institutions worldwide. The Chennai center supports the company’s global product and engineering work as it scales its platform and expands its capabilities across markets.
