Incredibuild, a global leader in build acceleration and intelligence, has announced the acquisition of Kypso, an AI startup developing context-aware AI agents for engineering teams. The acquisition marks a significant milestone in Incredibuild’s evolution into an AI-native developer platform designed to optimize the entire software development pipeline.
Founded in 2023 by former Snyk engineers Adam Gold and Tomer Ezer, Kypso’s technology integrates directly into popular developer tools, including GitHub, Jira, and Slack. Its AI agents automate and streamline workflows without requiring changes to existing processes. By incorporating Kypso’s platform, Incredibuild will extend beyond build acceleration to encompass full pipeline acceleration—helping developers speed up processes from testing and code scanning to build completion across both cloud and on-premise environments.
The acquisition strengthens Incredibuild’s position as an AI-powered enabler of modern software engineering, combining its distributed computing and caching technologies with Kypso’s AI automation to support the massive volume of code now being produced through generative AI. The Kypso team will join Incredibuild to spearhead its AI-native platform initiatives.
This transaction marks Incredibuild’s second acquisition within a year, following its purchase of Garden in November 2024. With this expansion, Incredibuild continues its mission to help developers and enterprises build, test, and deliver software more efficiently in an increasingly AI-driven environment.
