infiniFi Raises More Than $3 Million Ahead Of Planned Q4 Token Launch

infiniFi, a decentralized finance protocol developing blockchain-based financial infrastructure, has raised more than $3 million in new funding led by Electric Capital. The round included participation from New Form Capital, Generative Ventures, Fasanara Capital, 2Square, 4th Revolution Capital, DCFGod, The Rollup, and other investors.

The financing brings infiniFi’s total capital raised across its pre-seed and seed rounds to more than $6 million, providing additional resources for product development, integrations, multichain expansion, and the broader rollout of its financial products.

The company announced the financing ahead of its planned token generation event in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Founded to bring certain capital allocation practices associated with traditional banking onto blockchain infrastructure, infiniFi is developing a system designed to automate the deployment of digital assets across different investment and lending opportunities.

Its approach draws on the concept of fractional reserve banking, with a focus on using blockchain technology to provide greater transparency into how capital is allocated.

Traditional financial institutions deploy customer deposits across assets with different liquidity profiles and maturities while managing withdrawal requirements.

infiniFi is developing a decentralized system that seeks to automate aspects of this process and distribute the resulting economic benefits to users.

The company initially emerged from stealth in February 2025 with $3 million in pre-seed financing before launching its protocol in June of that year.

Since its launch, infiniFi reports that it has generated more than $9 million in yield for users.

The protocol also reported reaching an all-time high of $180 million in total value locked (TVL). Its latest announcement separately cited more than $50 million in TVL, distinguishing its more recent reported scale from its historical peak.

According to infiniFi, the amount of yield generated through its platform since launch has exceeded the external capital raised by the company.

These figures measure different aspects of the business: user yield represents returns generated through the protocol, while venture financing represents capital invested in the company.

The protocol has expanded across multiple blockchain networks, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Katana, and Base.

Its infrastructure connects users with decentralized finance applications and investment strategies designed to generate returns on deposited assets.

The company has established partnerships and integrations across the DeFi ecosystem, including relationships with Ethena, Pendle, Morpho, Aave, Fasanara, FalconX, Accountable, Steakhouse Financial, Silo, Curve, and Euler.

These integrations support the protocol’s capital allocation activities and provide access to different financial services and liquidity sources.

infiniFi’s next major development initiative is infiniFi Prime, an offering intended to extend its technology beyond crypto-native users.

The planned product will incorporate diversified, institutionally managed private credit into yield-generating accounts distributed through neobanks and consumer financial applications.

This strategy is intended to provide users of conventional financial applications with access to blockchain-based financial infrastructure without requiring them to interact directly with individual decentralized protocols.

The introduction of private credit would also expand the range of underlying assets and strategies available through the infiniFi system.

However, the company has not disclosed a definitive launch date for infiniFi Prime or the specific financial institutions that will distribute the product.

The latest financing will support additional protocol development and the expansion of infiniFi’s existing network of integrations.

Management also plans to pursue further multichain expansion as the company prepares for its planned token generation event.

The event is scheduled for Q4 2026, although the company has not announced an exact date in its latest financing release.

The funding provides infiniFi with additional capital as it develops its financial infrastructure and attempts to extend its services to a broader audience.
