Infleqtion: $100 Million Series C Raised For Scaling Quantum Solutions

By Amit Chowdhry • Jun 4, 2025

Infleqtion, the only company actively commercializing atom-based quantum systems across computing, sensing, and precision timing, announced a $100 million Series C funding round backed by new, existing, and strategic investors, including Glynn Capital, Counterpoint Global (Morgan Stanley), S32, SAIC, and others.

Infleqtion’s momentum is backed by a powerful investment community, such as new supporters and long-standing partners who share deep confidence in our mission. And additional investors include Axial, Breakthrough Victoria, Caruso Ventures, Cyfr Capital, Golden Vision Capital, Global Frontier, In-Q-Tel (IQT), LCP, Maverick, National Security Strategic Investment Fund (NSSIF), Olive Ventures, Overmatch, S Ventures (SentinelOne), and the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation.

Infleqtion’s technology is built on atoms, and it is currently deployed in government and commercial programs around the world. And Sqale, Infleqtion’s neutral atom-based quantum computer, is installed at the National Quantum Computing Centre (NQCC) in the United Kingdom. The company was selected by Japan’s Science and Technology Agency (JST) as the only foreign quantum computing partner in the Quantum Moonshot program.

The company leads the market in quantum-enabled positioning, navigation, and timing. This brings next-generation capabilities critical for national security. And its atomic clocks deliver a quantum advantage today, with more than 100 times improvements in precision over legacy systems. These systems are already deployed with NASA and the U.S. Department of Defense, and have earned an $11 million DoD APFIT contract award for mission-critical innovation.

Breakthrough: The company recently demonstrated a materials science breakthrough powered by its Superstaq compiler and Nvidia’s CUDA-Q platform, marking a major milestone on its path toward scalable, fault-tolerant quantum computing. The company also unveiled Contextual Machine Learning (CML), a quantum-inspired AI system designed to solve high-value defense and biotech applications.

How the funding will be used: Having generated almost $30 million in revenue last year and backed by a customer pipeline topping $200 million, Infleqtion will utilize this funding to scale its atom-based quantum platforms and accelerate deployment of field-ready quantum systems that address today’s most demanding real-world challenges.

Placement agent: J.P. Morgan served as the sole placement agent for Infleqtion.
