Inflexion has appointed John DiGiovanni as Head of Healthcare, adding senior sector leadership as the European mid-market private equity firm continues to build its healthcare investing capabilities. DiGiovanni will work closely with Andy Neville, a Partner on Inflexion’s Healthcare team who has served as interim head in the lead-up to the appointment.
DiGiovanni joins with nearly two decades of global healthcare private equity experience. Most recently, he was a Partner at Arsenal Capital Partners, where he served as healthcare sector co-leader and as a member of the firm’s Healthcare Investment Committee. Inflexion said he played a key role in building and leading Arsenal’s healthcare investment platform.
His transaction experience spans more than $2.5 billion of enterprise value, including board roles across healthcare IT, technology-enabled healthcare services, and biopharma services.
Before Arsenal, DiGiovanni spent around a decade at Baird Capital across the US and UK, where he helped develop the firm’s healthcare strategy, led cross-border sourcing efforts, and executed multiple transactions. He began his career in investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
