Inforcer has raised $50 million in Series C financing to expand its Microsoft security and AI management platform for managed service providers. Insight Partners led the round and acquired a minority stake alongside existing investors Meritech Capital and Dawn Capital.
The financing marks Inforcer’s third institutional round in 18 months, following its Series A and Series B. The London-based company said adoption has accelerated over the past two years as managed service providers seek standardized ways to secure and monetize Microsoft 365 and AI services.
Inforcer operates a unified, multi-tenant control platform designed for MSPs serving small and medium-sized businesses.
The company believes MSPs are increasingly evolving into AI service providers as their customers seek assistance with AI adoption, security, compliance and governance.
Inforcer’s Copilot Manager helps MSPs manage Microsoft Copilot deployments, while its Shadow AI detection capabilities identify unauthorized or unmanaged AI usage.
The company said these products provide MSPs with an entry point for offering repeatable managed AI services across large customer portfolios.
Inforcer is also expanding its platform in response to AI-enabled cyber threats. The company said AI is lowering the skills required to launch sophisticated attacks and allowing criminals to analyze compromised Microsoft environments more rapidly.
Attackers can use AI to identify valuable data, understand organizational structures and create highly personalized phishing or business email compromise messages based on a target’s language, writing style and business context.
Inforcer recently introduced Threat Detection & Response, or Inforcer TDR, to help MSPs identify human and AI-enhanced attacks, contain breaches and prevent similar incidents from recurring.
The company said the product makes Inforcer the first platform to combine Microsoft management with security capabilities spanning both preventive controls and post-compromise detection and response.
Inforcer plans to use the funding to expand its platform and help MSPs consolidate Microsoft technologies, build AI-focused service offerings and improve their operational economics.
Insight Partners’ security and infrastructure portfolio includes Kaseya, Veeam, SentinelOne, Darktrace, Mimecast and Wiz.
