Infosys announced the appointment of Ashiss Kumar Dash as CEO Designate, with the leadership transition set to take effect April 1, 2027. The appointment, based on a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, is for a five-year term subject to shareholder approval. Dash is set to succeed Salil Parekh as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer following the completion of Parekh’s second term, after more than nine years in the role.
Dash has spent more than three decades at Infosys, currently serving as global head of a business portfolio spanning multiple industry verticals, and also leads the company’s sustainability business. He has held senior leadership roles across customer-facing businesses, delivery, and global operations in multiple geographies. Dash serves on the Board of Directors of Infosys Public Services and MRE Consulting LLC, both wholly owned Infosys subsidiaries, and is a Trustee of Infosys Foundation USA. He holds a degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and has completed executive programs at Stanford University and London Business School.
Under Parekh’s leadership, Infosys grew revenue from $10 billion to more than $20 billion across his two terms. Parekh will continue leading the company until March 31, 2027, working alongside Dash to ensure a smooth transition.
