InfraRed Capital Partners, an international infrastructure asset manager, has agreed to acquire Rogers Communications’ data center business as part of its value-add strategy.

The business comprises nine Tier 2 and 3 data centers located in key Canadian cities, boasting a strong operational team and a diverse customer base across various industries. It offers up to 49 MW of capacity, along with secure colocation, cloud, and managed services, all while adhering to Canadian data sovereignty.

This investment aligns with InfraRed’s strategy of targeting companies with long-term growth potential backed by solid fundamentals and experienced management.

Completion of the transaction is expected by year-end, subject to customary closing conditions and receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals.
