InfraVia Capital Partners announced the successful closing of its sixth-generation infrastructure fund, InfraVia European Fund VI, reaching its €8 billion hard cap following strong global investor demand. The fund was oversubscribed and closed in just 18 months, exceeding its original €7 billion target and surpassing its €5 billion predecessor.

The fund focuses on sectors critical to Europe’s long-term competitiveness and resilience, including energy and energy transition, digital infrastructure, mobility, and social infrastructure. It targets mid-market European companies with resilient business models and strong value-creation potential, aiming to scale them into leading European platforms.

InfraVia European Fund VI has already committed more than €1 billion across three investments: OpCore, a hyperscale data center platform developed with Iliad, LDA, a maritime infrastructure group, and Prosolia Energy, an independent power producer focused on decarbonization solutions for industrial clients.

The fund attracted a broad and diversified investor base, including over 80 new investors, with more than half of the commitments coming from outside Europe, notably from the Americas, Asia, and the Middle East. With this closing, InfraVia has now raised a total of €21 billion across more than 200 global investors, spanning insurance companies, pension funds, sovereign institutions, family offices, and private banks.

InfraVia emphasized that the new fund will continue its established strategy of active asset management, focusing on buy-and-build initiatives, ESG integration, organizational development, and digital transformation to drive long-term value creation.

The fund is classified as Article 8 under the EU’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation, reflecting InfraVia’s commitment to integrating sustainability throughout its investment process.
