InMobi announced the acquisition of MobileAction, an AI-powered app growth and analytics platform focused on helping developers and marketers grow applications across the iOS ecosystem. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 2013 and headquartered in San Francisco, MobileAction specializes in App Store Optimization and Apple Ads performance tools designed to improve app discoverability and user acquisition.
InMobi said the acquisition strengthens its advertising business by expanding its capabilities across AI-powered app marketing, iOS growth optimization, and platform-native advertising expertise. The company added that the transaction further enhances its broader agentic commerce and advertising ecosystem alongside its Glance consumer platform.
MobileAction provides app analytics and marketing intelligence tools supported by data spanning more than 90 million creatives, 6 million keywords, 5 million apps, 100,000 publishers, and 500,000 advertisers. The platform is used by companies including Google, Meta, DoorDash, Square, Zalando, Playtika, and Priceline.
Following the transaction, MobileAction will continue operating as a dedicated platform while its teams across the United States, Europe, and Turkey join the InMobi organization.
InMobi said it plans additional investment into MobileAction’s product development and international expansion initiatives, with a focus on the United States, APAC, MENA, and other global markets.
InMobi operates as a global technology company focused on AI-powered commerce and advertising technologies, while MobileAction provides app store optimization and app analytics software for mobile developers and marketers.
