Innovation Growth Partners Specialty has appointed David Nikolai as President of its Programs Division. Nikolai has more than 30 years of experience across insurance brokerage and underwriting.
He most recently served as Executive Vice President of the sports and entertainment wholesale practice at a major international specialty insurance brokerage firm.
In his new role, Nikolai will oversee the growth and strategic direction of IGP Specialty’s insurance programs business.
Program insurance operations typically develop specialized policies for defined industries, customer groups or risk categories and distribute them through agents and other insurance partners.
IGP Specialty operates program, wholesale and managing general agency divisions. The organization manages more than $1.6 billion in insurance premiums and employs nearly 700 professionals across offices in 18 states.
The company is part of USI Insurance Services.
