Innovative Systems Acquires Actifai To Expand AI Automation Capabilities

By Amit Chowdhry ● Today at 8:53 AM

Innovative Systems has acquired Actifai to accelerate the deployment of AI-driven automation across broadband service providers, with both companies continuing to operate independently while collaborating on integrated solutions.

The deal brings together Innovative Systems’ eLation platform, which serves as a system of record for broadband operations, with Actifai’s AI engine designed to enhance sales, retention, support, and subscriber interactions. The combined capabilities are intended to embed AI directly into operational workflows rather than layering it on top of existing systems.

The companies said the integration will enable broadband providers to deploy AI-driven decisioning and automation within their existing technology environments, helping teams anticipate issues, act faster, and resolve problems without replacing core systems. By capturing policies, rules, processes, and data context, the joint platform aims to deliver automation that improves over time and works across multiple technology stacks.

Actifai will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Innovative Systems, with Ned Brody continuing as CEO of Actifai and Scott Alcott leading the combined organization.

Actifai’s platform, used by telecommunications providers across North America and Europe, has delivered measurable gains, including increases in average revenue per user, improved sales conversion rates, and higher subscriber retention. The acquisition is expected to expand these capabilities by embedding them more deeply into broadband providers’ operational systems.

KEY QUOTES:

“AI is most powerful when embedded within real operational systems and subscriber interactions. Partnering with Actifai enables us to help providers take action faster, improve outcomes, and automate more of the work that drives their business.”

Scott Alcott, CEO of Innovative Systems
