Innovorder Raises €20 Million To Accelerate AI-Powered Restaurant Digitalization

Innovorder announced a €20 million funding round as the company seeks to become the European leader in restaurant digitalization and expand its role from a leading French scale-up to a consolidator in the European hospitality technology market.

The financing round is led by UL Invest, the family office of Laurent Useldinger. The transaction also brings Jalel Souissi and Stéphane Epin to the company’s board of directors. Existing investor Evolem, which has backed Innovorder since 2019, also renewed its commitment through the latest round.

Founded in 2014, Innovorder has developed an all-in-one cloud-based platform designed for commercial and institutional food service operators. The company provides technology solutions that help restaurants digitize operations, streamline workflows, and improve management across multiple functions.

Over the past decade, Innovorder has equipped more than 3,000 restaurants and food service locations. Its customer base includes major French catering groups such as Sodexo, Elior, Compass, and API Restauration, as well as consumer-facing brands including La Croissanterie and Amorino.

The company reported reaching profitability in 2024 while maintaining annual organic growth of approximately 40%. Innovorder currently operates across France, Spain, Italy, and Morocco and employs about 80 people.

The new funding will support two primary strategic initiatives: accelerating expansion across Europe and scaling artificial intelligence capabilities throughout the platform. The company believes the restaurant industry increasingly requires a unified, open, cloud-native, and AI-first technology infrastructure that allows operators to focus on hospitality, service, and food preparation rather than administrative complexity.

Innovorder plans to use the investment to strengthen its position in existing markets, pursue broader European growth opportunities, and integrate AI-driven tools across its technology stack as it seeks to become a leading restaurant technology platform across the continent.
