Inocras has raised $31 million in an oversubscribed Series B-3 financing round to expand its whole-genome sequencing and bioinformatics platform in the United States.

The financing brings the San Diego-based company’s total funding to approximately $100 million. Inocras plans to use the proceeds to build its U.S. commercial and operational infrastructure while expanding adoption of its precision oncology products.

The round included new and existing financial investors, along with strategic investors NDS Corporation and Aimed Bio.

New investors included IMM Investment, Korea Investment & Securities, LoftyRock Investment, DT& Investment, Woori Investment & Securities and Shinhan Securities. Existing investors DSC Investment, Dunamu & Partners and InterVest also participated.

Inocras develops tools that combine whole-genome sequencing with proprietary bioinformatics and automated interpretation capabilities. The company is initially focused on precision oncology, where it aims to translate complex genomic data into clinically relevant information for physicians and researchers.

Its product portfolio includes CancerVision, a comprehensive tumor-profiling platform, and MRDVision, which is designed to detect molecular residual disease.

Across the two products, Inocras analyzes genomic alterations and complex biomarkers throughout the cancer genome and converts those findings into curated insights intended to support clinical decision-making.

The company has already established clinical adoption across Asia. Its whole-genome sequencing solutions are used by more than 100 cancer institutions and have been applied in thousands of patient cases.

Inocras has also developed a significant commercial presence in Hong Kong and supports approximately 30 hospitals in South Korea.

The company said its experience in Asia provides a foundation for expanding into the U.S. market as whole-genome sequencing moves toward broader use in oncology.

The financing follows additional clinical and scientific validation of Inocras’ approach. Through a collaboration with researchers at the Broad Institute, the company recently analyzed whole-genome data from The Cancer Genome Atlas across thousands of cancer cases.

Inocras said the work demonstrated the potential for standardized whole-genome analysis at scale and could help support wider use of comprehensive genomic information in cancer care.

The company operates a laboratory certified under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments and accredited by the College of American Pathologists. It also works with hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and research organizations.

KEY QUOTES:

“We have already seen meaningful adoption across cancer institutions in Asia, where our technology has been used in thousands of patient cases.”

“Our next objective is to bring that clinical experience to the United States and help make whole-genome analysis a standard part of cancer care. This financing gives us the resources to expand our clinical presence, support adoption within hospitals, and build the evidence and infrastructure required to achieve that goal.”
