InsideDesk Raises $12.6 Million to Scale AI-Powered Revenue Cycle Management for Dental Organizations

InsideDesk, a provider of AI-powered revenue cycle management (RCM) solutions for dental service organizations (DSOs), has closed a $12.6 million financing led by Pender Ventures, with participation from existing investors Round13 Capital and Graphite Ventures. The capital will fund deeper investment in artificial intelligence and automation, support key hires across engineering, AI, and go-to-market functions, and accelerate the company’s expansion as DSOs increasingly look to technology to manage growing administrative complexity.

Revenue cycle management in dental organizations involves the end-to-end process of submitting insurance claims, tracking receivables, managing denials, and collecting payments — a workflow that has historically been manual, labor-intensive, and prone to leakage, particularly as dental groups scale across multiple locations with varying payor relationships. InsideDesk’s platform automates claims processing, improves collections visibility, and reduces administrative burden across the organization, with its AI layer designed to surface collection opportunities and flag issues before they result in lost revenue.

MB2 Dental, one of the nation’s largest dental partnership organizations, is an existing InsideDesk customer and provided validation for the company’s commercial traction in the announcement. MB2 Dental was founded in 2007 and pioneered the dental partnership organization model as an alternative to the traditional DSO structure, preserving clinical autonomy for dentist-owners while providing shared operational infrastructure.

Pender Ventures focuses on health tech and B2B technology companies at the commercialization-to-scale inflection point and operates across North America from offices in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, and Calgary.
