Insight Enterprises, a global solutions integrator, announced that its subsidiary, Insight Enterprises Australia Pty Limited, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Sekuro, a leading provider of end-to-end cybersecurity, governance, and risk services for enterprises and government organizations.
The acquisition will significantly expand Insight’s cybersecurity presence across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, reinforcing its commitment to helping businesses build digital resilience amid a rapidly evolving threat landscape.
Founded in 2021, Sekuro has established itself as a trusted partner for top enterprises by offering a comprehensive suite of services to design, build, secure, and optimize public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. The company supports clients in safeguarding networks, applications, and data while helping them navigate governance, risk, and compliance challenges. Its clients include global enterprises such as Canva, Atlassian, and Salesforce, highlighting Sekuro’s strength in delivering cybersecurity excellence at scale.
The acquisition positions Insight to meet the growing demand for advanced security capabilities across the region. Businesses in APAC have faced a 38% year-over-year increase in data breaches in 2024, emphasizing the urgent need for organizations to shift from reactive responses to proactive defense and resilience strategies.
Sekuro employs more than 200 cybersecurity professionals who collectively hold over 450 technical certifications from leading technology providers such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft, AWS, Zscaler, and Okta. Its 24/7 managed security services and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) solutions are particularly valuable to enterprises and government agencies, including a specialization in Australian government IRAP assessments.
Once completed, the acquisition will further enable Insight to deliver an integrated suite of cybersecurity solutions, combining Sekuro’s governance and risk capabilities with Insight’s global expertise in cloud, infrastructure, and digital transformation. Together, the two companies will empower clients to adopt proactive, AI-driven security frameworks designed to defend against sophisticated and evolving cyber threats.
Support: Baker McKenzie is serving as Insight’s legal counsel for the transaction, while Equiteq LLC acts as Sekuro’s exclusive financial advisor.
