Insigneo, an international wealth management firm headquartered in Miami, announced a partnership with fintech startup Karta to launch a co-branded global charge card for high-net-worth international clients holding U.S.-based assets. The companies said the agreement gives Insigneo exclusive rights as the first wealth management firm to offer a co-branded charge card with Karta, positioning the launch as part of Insigneo’s broader push to add new tools and services tailored to cross-border clients.
The firms framed the product as a response to what they described as a gap in premium card options for internationally based clients who maintain U.S. assets. Insigneo said the Insigneo x Karta card is designed for a customer segment it believes has been overlooked or not fully served by existing card programs, particularly in global mobility, multi-currency spending, and service expectations that mirror those of high-touch wealth management.
Karta said the card includes features aimed at frequent international travelers and globally mobile clients. The program includes no foreign transaction fees and Priority Pass Select access to more than 1,300 airport lounges worldwide. The companies also highlighted KARTA Points, a rewards program with redemption options across airlines, hotels, and premium partners. The onboarding process is fully digital, with instant digital access after approval and immediate availability through Apple Pay and Google Pay. Support is positioned as concierge-led and always-on, with multilingual 24/7 assistance delivered through WhatsApp.
Insigneo and Karta said the card was unveiled earlier this month at Insigneo’s Sunset Party in Punta del Este, Uruguay, an event that brought together the firm’s network of investment professionals, clients, and partners. The companies described the launch as a step toward building a broader financial ecosystem that supports how clients manage money across borders, including how they spend and travel, as well as how they invest.
Insigneo said it supports nearly $32 billion in customer assets and works with more than 300 investment professionals and 68 institutional firms, serving over 32,000 clients. The firm said it leverages a custodial relationship with BNY Mellon’s Pershing as part of its broader wealth platform offering.
