Insmed CFO Sara Bonstein To Step Down As Company Reaffirms 2026 Guidance

Insmed has announced that Chief Financial Officer Sara Bonstein will step down from her role on October 30, 2026, after nearly seven years with the biopharmaceutical company.

Bonstein will remain CFO through Insmed’s third-quarter 2026 financial reporting process and is expected to participate in the company’s earnings call on October 29.

Insmed has begun a search for its next CFO and has retained an executive search firm to assist with the process.

The company said Bonstein’s departure is not related to any disagreement involving Insmed’s accounting practices, financial statements, internal controls or operations.

During Bonstein’s tenure, Insmed raised more than $4.2 billion in capital.

The company said it is now positioned to reach cash flow positivity in 2027 and believes it has a path toward sustained revenue growth and profitability.

Insmed has undergone a broader transformation into a diversified global biotechnology company with a portfolio of commercial and pipeline therapies.

The company highlighted the launch of BRINSUPRI and continued commercial performance of ARIKAYCE as important components of that strategy.

Alongside the CFO transition, Insmed reaffirmed its full-year 2026 financial guidance.

The company continues to expect BRINSUPRI revenue of between $1.25 billion and $1.40 billion for the year.

ARIKAYCE revenue is expected to range from $450 million to $470 million.

Insmed plans to report third-quarter 2026 results on October 29 and will host an investor conference call that morning.

The company said its search for a new CFO will focus on identifying an executive capable of supporting Insmed’s next phase as its commercial portfolio and development pipeline expand.
