Inspiration Mobility Group announced that it has acquired select assets of Electrada, a commercial fleet electrification company founded in 2020.
The acquired assets include Electrada’s team, project pipeline, charging depot development and energy management software, and intellectual property. These assets will become part of Inspiration Energy, Inspiration Mobility Group’s charging infrastructure and energy management business.
The acquisition expands Inspiration Energy’s Charging-as-a-Service capabilities and customer reach. It also strengthens the company’s ability to support commercial fleets across the full electric fuel lifecycle, from depot design and utility coordination to distributed power, energy management, and ongoing operations.
Electrada has built and operated fleet electrification infrastructure across the United States for public agencies, Fortune 500 companies, and institutional customers. The company’s models include 360 CaaS, FleetFlex, and FleetFlip.
Across more than 375 depots, Electrada has delivered more than 99% electric fuel uptime and powered more than 10 million clean miles annually. Its programs have supported fleet electrification across vehicle classes ranging from passenger vehicles to Class 8 tractor-trailers.
Inspiration Mobility Group said the acquisition will help fleet operators reduce dependence on fossil fuels while improving cost predictability and operational reliability. The company is also expected to use Electrada’s capabilities to further expand into heavy-duty commercial vehicles, distribution fleets, and autonomous vehicle markets.
The combined platform is designed to serve customers with high energy demand, complex operating requirements, custom vehicle financing needs, and a strong need for reliable charging infrastructure.
