By Amit Chowdhry ● Feb 5, 2026

Installed Building Products, an insulation installer and diversified building products contractor, has completed three acquisitions that add more than $22 million in combined annual revenue and broaden its footprint across multiple U.S. regions and end markets.

The company said it acquired Thermo Tech Mechanical Insulation on February 2, 2026. Based in Watertown, Wisconsin, Thermo Tech provides mechanical insulation services for commercial and industrial applications, including HVAC piping, plumbing, and process systems installations, and focuses on new-construction work across Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, and Illinois. Installed Building Products put Thermo Tech’s annual revenue at approximately $13 million.

Installed Building Products also acquired Biomax Spray Foam Insulation on January 19, 2026. Biomax, based in Tyler, Texas, installs spray foam and fiberglass insulation and primarily serves new residential and commercial projects across Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. The company said Biomax generates about $5 million in annual revenue.

The third transaction involved the acquisition of CKV Finished Products on December 11, 2025. CKV, based in Indianapolis, Indiana, installs complementary building products, including shower doors, shelving, mirrors, bath accessories, and locksets, and mainly serves new residential end markets throughout Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio. Installed Building Products estimated CKV’s annual revenue at roughly $4 million.

Installed Building Products said the transactions support its acquisition-driven growth strategy by expanding service coverage in residential housing markets as well as commercial and industrial hubs, while further diversifying revenue and cash flows across additional product categories.
