Inszone Insurance Services announced the acquisition of Webtec Insurance Services. Webtec Insurance Services is a specialized insurance agency primarily focused on auto and homeowners insurance.
Founded more than 40 years ago, Webtec built a strong reputation serving the personal insurance needs of individuals and families.
The agency was originally based in California, which remains the bulk of its business, and later relocated its home base to Colorado.
Webtec has been known for its family-run approach, policyholder focus, and longstanding client relationships.
The founder of Webtec said the decision to partner with Inszone was driven by retirement planning, the desire to retain the agency’s staff, and the need for stronger infrastructure to support its core market.
Existing Webtec team members will remain in place, allowing clients to continue working with the people they know while gaining access to Inszone’s expanded carrier relationships, technology, operational resources, and broader market expertise.
The acquisition strengthens Inszone’s personal lines presence in California and Colorado, particularly in auto and homeowners insurance.
Inszone said the transaction aligns with its focus on preserving the local identity and relationships that have made independent agencies successful.
The deal also supports Inszone’s broader strategy of expanding organically and through acquisitions across the U.S.
