Intec Bioplastics: $75 Million Regulation A+ Offering Launched To Expand Sustainable Packaging Manufacturing

Intec Bioplastics, a developer of plant-based plastic technologies, announced the launch of a $75 million Regulation A+ Tier II offering to expand its sustainable packaging manufacturing operations across the United States.

The company said the capital will be used to build ten manufacturing and distribution centers over the next 48 months, supporting increased production of its EarthPlus sustainable materials platform. The expansion is aimed at scaling domestic capacity for plant-based alternatives to conventional plastic packaging.

Intec’s flagship product, Hercules BioFlex stretch wrap film, is designed to match the performance of traditional plastic wrap while improving recyclability outcomes. The company currently serves more than 60 active customers who regularly purchase its sustainable stretch wrap products.

In 2025, Intec introduced a BuyBack program that allows customers to return used stretch wrap film and cardboard cores in exchange for credits toward future purchases. The initiative targets a major industry issue, as more than 200 million cores are discarded in landfills annually, while only about 5 percent of stretch wrap film is recycled.

The company noted that its Hercules BioFlex films are certified by the Association of Plastic Recyclers, indicating compatibility with existing recycling streams. Intec also emphasized that its products are priced competitively with traditional materials, positioning them as both a sustainability and cost efficiency solution.

The offering is being conducted under Regulation A+ and is available through an SEC-qualified offering circular. The company stated that proceeds will support continued growth as it expands its manufacturing footprint and recovery solutions nationwide.
