Integrated Insurance Solutions announced the acquisition of Appel Insurance Advisors, bringing together two experienced teams to provide life insurance, disability income protection, long-term care, estate planning, and business succession strategies for financial advisors nationwide.
The transaction strengthens Integrated Insurance Solutions’ ability to help advisors address increasingly complex client needs involving longevity planning, liquidity management, estate efficiency, and business succession. The company said the acquisition further integrates insurance planning into the broader financial planning process, positioning insurance as a key component of long-term, goals-based wealth management.
As part of the acquisition, David Appel, founder of Appel Insurance Advisors and a veteran with more than three decades of industry experience, joins the platform. His expertise spans life insurance, executive benefits, disability income protection, estate planning, and long-term care solutions.
Integrated said the combination will enhance support for advisors affiliated with Integrated Partners, as well as independent RIAs, family offices, CPA firms, attorneys, and other advisors serving business owners and high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. The companies noted that advisors and clients will benefit from broader expertise and expanded operational resources.
Integrated Insurance Solutions will continue serving Integrated Partners advisors, Appel’s existing clients, and independent advisors nationwide, particularly those seeking advanced insurance planning capabilities without maintaining those resources internally.
Founded in 1996, Integrated Partners supports more than 220 advisors and over 250 CPA partners nationwide. As of December 31, 2025, the firm reported $25 billion in assets under advisement, including $18.9 billion in advisory assets.
