Integrated Specialty Coverages Buys Specialty Brokerage Services To Scale Nationwide Wholesale Platform

Integrated Specialty Coverages (ISC), a California-based multi-line program administrator, has acquired Specialty Brokerage Services (SBS), an Ohio-based wholesale brokerage, in a move intended to expand ISC’s wholesale capabilities across personal and commercial lines.

ISC said the deal strengthens its personal and commercial wholesale offerings, deepens carrier relationships, and supports its broader push to build one of the industry’s most comprehensive wholesale platforms, with expanded access across admitted and non-admitted lines.

ISC said SBS brings added depth across personal, commercial, general binding, and brokerage operations. The company highlighted SBS’s niche in high value personal lines as a complement to ISC’s exclusive homeowners programs, while noting SBS’s commercial expertise in small commercial and SME risks as aligned with ISC’s core focus areas. ISC also said the acquisition expands ISC’s market access in areas such as private flood, product liability, and additional specialty lines.

Executives from both firms described the combination as a strong strategic and cultural fit. ISC leadership emphasized SBS’s talent, leadership, and reputation with agents and carrier partners, while SBS highlighted ISC’s technology, distribution capabilities, and carrier relationships as a foundation for broader opportunities and a more scalable platform.

ISC said the transaction is part of a wider plan to grow its wholesale division nationwide through a mix of organic expansion and additional strategic acquisitions.
