Intelligent Workforce Platform Company Observe.ai Secures $125 Million

Observe.ai – a company that provides natural language tools for tracking voice/text conversations – recently announced it raised $125 million in funding. This round of funding will be used for expanding its technology and market penetration.

In an interview with TechCrunch, Observe.ai CEO Swapnil Jain noted that the goal is to target the dreadful experiences associated with engagements with contact centers. The company works with a number of multinational telecommunication companies. Other customers include Kin, Public Storage, 23andMe, Group 1 Automotive, Accolade, and Pearson.

The SoftBank Vision Fund led the funding round and videoconferencing giant Zoom also joined the round along with previous investors Menlo Ventures, Scale Venture Partners, Nexus Venture Partners, etc. Zoom’s investment in the company was strategic.

Founded in 2017, Observe.ai participated in the Y Combinator startup accelerator program as part of the Winter 2018 cohort. Along with Jain, the founders also include Akash Singh (CTO) and Sharath Keshava (CRO).
